WhatsApp, the popular instant messaging service has released a major update to its desktop app, which now officially supports message flow even if the primary phone is switched off. Users can now connect up to four devices to a single WhatsApp account, and all devices will continue to work independently even if there is no internet connectivity on the primary device. The new WhatsApp app for Windows also supports features like group video and audio calls with up to 8 people on a video call and up to 32 people on audio calls, all with end-to-end encryption.
